WebGLRenderingContext: compileShader() method
Baseline Widely available
This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The WebGLRenderingContext.compileShader() method of the WebGL API compiles a GLSL shader into binary
data so that it can be used by a WebGLProgram
.
Syntax
js
compileShader(shader)
Parameters
shader
-
A fragment or vertex
WebGLShader
.
Return value
None (undefined
).
Examples
js
